Hey everyone! I’m Rachel. I’m a Social Worker with a passion for helping others navigate the intricate paths of life transitions, severe mental illness, grief, and bereavement. Throughout my career, I’ve had experience in working in crisis management, crisis de-escalation, anger management, and first responder households, as well as working with individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
In today’s ever-changing and chaotic world, we often find ourselves out of balance, needing support to realign with what’s most important to us. These feelings, and the feelings circulating around us, don’t have to define us. I'm here to be your ally and sounding board, as we tackle life’s emotional rollercoaster together.
What you can expect from me is to be provided a safe and nurturing space to work through the issues that no one should have to face alone. I aim to create a welcoming environment that helps you feel empowered to explore complicated emotions and confront challenges head-on. I pride myself on maintaining a professional, albeit laid back atmosphere for my clients.
No single approach works for every person, and I’m dedicated to figure out what works for you. I utilize a blend of approaches to address root causes of stressors, process through difficult feelings, and navigate through transitions. We’ll work together to discover the tools needed to manage your symptoms, develop coping strategies, create new insights, cultivate resilience, and embark on transformative journeys of self-discovery.
With me in your corner, I hope to provide reassurance in knowing you have a dedicated ally committed to your well being. Through my therapeutic philosophy and collaborative spirit, we’ll work together to forge a path towards healing, growth, and a brighter future.
