Thrive Therapy Maryland
Kayla Kitler, LGPC
Hi! My name is Kayla and I’m so excited to get to know you and help you reach your therapy goals! I am an outgoing, passionate individual that uses my lived and clinical experience to guide my approach in therapy sessions. I am committed to helping individuals develop healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and the ability to self-advocate. I provide a safe space for clients to explore their own emotions and needs while also providing practice skills that can be used at home and daily life.

My approaches include mindfulness based CBT, ACT, and client-centered therapy. My focus is on helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and relationship struggles. I love to incorporate activities, games, or music into sessions to collaborate artistically with clients to have a little fun while working hard together.

I am a graduate student at Walden University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I have multiple supervisors here at Thrive and also attend many trainings for clinical skills! I am eager to learn and provide you with the best care possible. I look forward to hearing from you!
Kayla is INN with Cigna Carefirst BCBS, United, and Kaiser.
