Hanan Qasem, Graduate-Level Intern

Hi! My name is Hanan, so nice to meet you!

Reaching out for support takes strength, and getting to this point is something to be proud of. At times, the struggles we face can make us feel isolated, as if no one truly understands what we’re going through, but you don’t have to face them alone.

I believe growth begins with cultivating deep self-awareness, and my goal is to help you make empowered choices that align with your values and goals. I view mental and physical health, relationships, lived experiences, spirituality, culture, and identity as deeply interconnected.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe, warm, and collaborative space, rooted in cultural humility. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, coping with trauma, or navigating complex relationships, I'm here to help you develop practical tools and strategies to move forward. I work from a holistic and integrative approach, drawing on a variety of tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.

I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey - listening, supporting, and helping you find meaning and healing along the way.
