Hi! My name is Giovania - so nice to meet you! I am graduate student at Bowie state University. I am completing my 1,000 hour internship here at Thrive Therapy Maryland! I have multiple supervisors here at Thrive and also attend trainings for clinical skills. I am a Graduate Assistant within my program and the President of the African Psychology Student Association.
My main areas of focus are trauma, depression, anxiety, and holistic wellness. I have a special interest in multicultural work and empowering youth within urban communities. I am excited to get my dance therapy + art therapy certifications in the future, so I can incorporate those into sessions.
I am passionate about learning the best techniques for client care so we can get you feeling better! I want to partner alongside you so you can experience the happiness and growth that you deserve. I really look forward to hearing from you!

Direct pay rates are $110 per appointment. If you have Medicaid, we can discount services to $90/appointment.

I am a current master's Mental Health Counseling student at Bowie State University. I am approved to provide mental health care services as part of my Practicum + Internship in school.
