Caroline Roberts, Graduate-Level Intern

Hi, my name is Caroline and I’m glad you’re here!

I have a desire to work with all individuals who struggle with depression or anxiety-related disorders. I am especially passionate about supporting student-athletes who face challenges related to disordered eating habits, anxiety, and/or depression associated with performance, injury, and balancing the demands of their sport with the other obligations in their schedule. My therapeutic approach stems primarily from CBT and creating a welcoming and supportive environment. My primary goal is to collaborate with you to develop a customized approach tailored to your specific needs.

Prior to this role, I gained experience conducting research that explores the intersection of athletics and eating disorder recovery, as well as authoring content aimed at providing psychoeducation for athletes and their support networks. These experiences, coupled with my own experience as an athlete, have instilled in me an empathetic and knowledgeable approach to working with the student-athlete population.

Beyond the athletic world, my work with students with disabilities in the school system has been deeply meaningful. That experience strengthened my commitment to advocacy, a value that I carry into the therapeutic setting.

I look forward to working together!
