Thrive Therapy Maryland
Ashley Cole, Graduate-Level Intern
Hi, I’m Ashley—it’s wonderful to meet you!
I have extensive experience working with children in various settings, including daycare centers, schools, and as a behavior technician supporting children with autism spectrum disorder. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the importance of empathy, patience, and individualized care.

While my early work has centered around children, I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults—particularly BIPOC individuals, older adults, and those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related challenges, including those within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Growing up as a Black girl in a small, rural town shaped my awareness of how identity and environment can impact mental health and inspired my dedication to providing affirming and culturally responsive care. Above all, I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to participate in their own unique healing journey.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. I’m excited to continue to walk alongside you as we work toward meaningful change and self-understanding.

Ashley is INN with Cigna, United Healthcare, Kaiser, and Carefirst BCBS. Direct pay rates are $110 per appointment. If you have Medicaid, we can offer a discounted rate of $90/appointment.
