Thrive Therapy Maryland
Ana Cecilia Dantas,
Graduate-Level Intern
Hi, I’m Ana Cecilia!
My passion is helping people through life’s many transitions, challenges, and emotional ups and downs. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure about the future, my goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.

I earned my degree in Psychology in 2017 in Brazil, where I was born and raised, and bring experience working with both children and adults. I’ve supported families navigating school and behavioral challenges, children as a Montessori teacher, as well as adults coping with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is flexible and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, existential therapy, and psychoanalytic principles. I also value cultural sensitivity and adapt my work to honor each person’s unique background and story.

I’m especially drawn to supporting people experiencing anxiety, life changes, multicultural or identity concerns, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. My goal is to create a warm, affirming environment where every client feels safe to explore, heal, and grow at their own pace.

I’m a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I’m thrilled to work with you!

Ana Cecilia is INN with Cigna, United Healthcare, Kaiser and Carefirst BCBS. Direct pay rates are $110 per appointment. If you have Medicaid, we can discount services to $90/appointment.
